Salman Khan will be back in theaters next year with Sikandar, and fans are eagerly anticipating what the movie will bring. The good news is that A R Murugadoss is reportedly going all out to show off the Bollywood star’s action side, and there will be some lengthy action scenes in the movie. According to sources, a special train action sequence is being planned as the shoot moves from Hyderabad to Mumbai.
An advanced and powerful set has been built in a Borivali studio in suburban Mumbai to film this train scene, according to a Mid-Day report, which also claims that Sikandar will be a treat for action fans. The source went on to share more information, saying, “This scene is enormous in scope. It features gritty, unvarnished action as Salman’s character battles a group of villains. The action choreographer was instructed by the director to make it vengeful and bloody. On Wednesday night, Salman shot the set-piece in front of a mere thirty people. About 350 people participated in the crowd-heavy scenes that Murugadoss separately filmed on Tuesday.
Besides that, it is being stated that due to certain security concerns, the scenes will be filmed in different locations. “The shoot will continue till January-end at different locations in the city,” the source said, adding that the location will be moving outside the Borivali studio on Thursday.
In fact related to the movie, Sikandar boasts an ensemble cast that includes Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, and Prateik Babbar, among others. Earlier this month, the team completed a significant schedule in Hyderabad. During Eid 2025, the A R Murugadoss-directed and Sajid Nadiadwala-produced movie will be released.
