Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan First Look: Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey’s Poster Creates Buzz
Shanaya Kapoor is all set to make her big Bollywood debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, where she stars opposite Vikrant Massey. The first look poster of the film was revealed on Wednesday. In the poster, both actors are seen sitting on a horse on a merry-go-round, lost in a romantic moment. Vikrant is wearing a brown jacket and trousers, while Shanaya looks stunning in a red sequined dress with a thigh-high slit and flowing hair. She also holds sunglasses in her hand.

This is the first film together for Shanaya and Vikrant. While some fans are excited about this new on-screen pair, others have mixed reactions due to the age gap between the two actors—Shanaya is 25 and Vikrant is 38. Some comments on social media pointed out that the age difference is visible, and a few even said that Vikrant doesn’t suit this kind of romantic role anymore. One user wrote, “I thought he retired.”
Despite the criticism, Shanaya’s parents, Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor, showed full support. Maheep posted heart emojis, while Sanjay wrote, “God is kind.”
The film is directed by Santosh Singh and the music is given by Vishal Mishra. It is inspired by Ruskin Bond’s popular short story The Eyes Have It. In the film, Shanaya plays a theatre artist, while Vikrant plays a blind musician.
The teaser of the film will be released on June 5, 2025, and the movie will hit theatres on July 11, 2025.
Meanwhile, Vikrant Massey also has another big project coming up. He will play spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in White, an international thriller about the peace resolution of Colombia’s civil war. This film is directed by Montoo Bassi and produced by Siddharth Anand and Mahaveer Jain.
