“Sitaare Zameen Par” is a sports comedy-drama starring Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in lead roles. It is an official remake of the Spanish movie “Champions” and is also considered a spiritual sequel to Aamir Khan’s 2007 film “Taare Zameen Par.” This film also introduces many new actors like Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.
The screenplay has been written by Divy Nidhi Sharma, the music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, and the cinematography is done by Srinivas Reddy.
Interestingly, Aamir Khan has chosen not to sell the OTT rights of this film. He wants it to be enjoyed only in theatres so that people can come back to the big screen and experience the magic of cinema together. So far, the movie has collected around ₹67.03 crore.
