Navjot Singh Sidhu recently shared a personal story about Shah Rukh Khan. He said he met SRK in Lucknow after a cricket match. Shah Rukh was very happy to meet him. Sidhu told him that he used to watch TV only to see him in serials like Fauji and Circus. When Kapil Dev asked Sidhu who this young man was, he replied that SRK was a rising star and would soon become famous.

Sidhu also talked about how he warned Shah Rukh about joining Bollywood. He told him that the film industry is not easy, and without parents for support, it would be very tough to survive. But Shah Rukh was very confident. He said he would handle everything himself. He didn’t see anyone as his competitor. He only competed with himself.
Sidhu said SRK was very humble and respectful even back then, just like he is today. He also remembered Abhishek Bachchan once saying on their show that Shah Rukh is the only person in the industry who doesn’t feel insecure. Abhishek said SRK is as steady as the Himalayas and doesn’t get affected by small problems.
Today, Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest names in Indian cinema. He made a strong comeback with Pathaan, which made over ₹1,000 crore at the box office. After that, he gave two more big hits – Jawan and Dunki. Right now, he is working on his upcoming movie King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film will have a big cast including Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Abhay Verma, Saurabh Shukla, and more.
