Priyanka Chopra Jonas is all set for the release of her upcoming action-comedy film Heads of State, which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on July 2, 2025. In this film, Priyanka plays the role of Noel Bisset, a top MI6 agent. She teams up with characters played by John Cena and Idris Elba as they face a major crisis after their diplomatic mission goes wrong.
Recently, Priyanka appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where she shared a funny but scary incident from the movie shoot. She said that while filming an action scene in the rain, she had to roll on the ground as the camera came close. But both she and the camera operator got too close, and the matte box of the camera hit her face. It took out a part of her eyebrow. She added, “It could have been my eye, so I was really thankful it wasn’t.” She didn’t stop shooting though — she just used surgical glue, patched it up, and continued her work. She didn’t want to return to shoot again in the rain.
Priyanka also spoke about how there were many pranks played on her during the shoot. She said she was the one who helped break the ice between her co-stars John Cena and Idris Elba, who were not talking much at the beginning.

Storyline

Their public rivalry is affecting the relations between both countries. But when a foreign enemy attacks and their plane Air Force One is shot down, they are forced to work together. They are joined by MI6 agent Noel Bisset (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) on a dangerous mission to stop a global threat. The film mixes action, comedy, and political drama. It has been compared to films like Air Force One and Hobbs & Shaw.
