Maddock Films Unveils Exciting Horror-Comedy Universe Slate for 2025 and Beyond
A Strong Start to 2025
Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films has kicked off 2025 with a bang, revealing some thrilling news for fans of their horror-comedy universe. The production house has unveiled a slate of eight films that will expand this popular genre over the next few years.
Highly Anticipated Sequels and New Additions
Among the most awaited projects are Stree 3, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, and Bhediya 2, featuring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Alongside these sequels, Maddock Films is introducing fresh stories into the horror-comedy genre, including Shakti Shalini and Chamunda. The lineup will eventually lead to a grand multiverse showdown in Doosara Mahayudh.
Release Dates for the Upcoming Films
Stree 3, the third installment of the hit Stree franchise, is scheduled for release on August 13, 2027. The production house has also shared release dates for other films in the universe:
- Thama – Diwali 2025
- Shakti Shalini – December 31, 2025
- Bhediya 2 – August 14, 2026
- Chamunda – December 4, 2026
- Maha Munjya – December 24, 2027
- Pehla Mahayudh – August 11, 2028
- Doosara Mahayudh – October 18, 2028
