Hera Pheri 3 Akshay Kumar Files Rs. 25 Crore Lawsuit Against Paresh Rawal

In a big surprise for Bollywood fans, actor Akshay Kumar has taken legal action against his long-time co-star Paresh Rawal. Akshay has filed a Rs. 25 crore case after Rawal suddenly left the film Hera Pheri 3 during shooting.
Film Started with Original Trio
The film, directed by Priyadarshan and produced under Akshay’s banner Cape of Good Films, had officially started in April 2025. Fans were very excited as the original trio—Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal—had come back together after years for the next part of the much-loved Hera Pheri series.
Rawal Walks Out, Then Denies Creative Differences
At first, reports said that Paresh Rawal left the movie due to “creative differences.” But soon after, he posted a message on X (earlier Twitter), clearing the air. He wrote:
“I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.”
This statement shocked many, as it went against the earlier reason shared with the public.

Production Team Calls Rawal’s Exit Unprofessional
People working on the film are unhappy with Rawal’s sudden decision. One insider said, “It’s very unprofessional to leave a film in the middle after taking the full payment, especially when the shoot has already started. These are not just films—they are big projects involving a lot of people and planning.”
Payment Was Already Made
Sources close to the project revealed that Rawal had received part of his payment at the time of signing. All planning and budget work was done only after the actors gave their confirmation. So, his sudden exit has disturbed the film’s schedule and caused big losses. (Also read: Bollywood’s Dirty Past Exposed: Anu Aggarwal Spills the 90s Truth)
Legal Action by Cape of Good Films
Because of these issues, Akshay Kumar’s production house Cape of Good Films is now taking legal steps. They are demanding Rs. 25 crore for financial loss, shooting delays, and damage to their brand name. No official statement has come from Akshay’s team yet, but sources say this legal move is also meant to send a strong message about professionalism in big films.
