Hollywood actress Blake Lively, who is the wife of ‘Deadpool’ star Ryan Reynolds, has accused her “It Ends with us” director and co-star Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment.
In her complaint, Lively has claimed that Baldoni tried to ruin her reputation and that his actions caused her and her family severe emotional distress, as reported by Variety. Baldoni’s lawyer Brian Friedman denied the allegations, calling them “shameful” and “completely false”.
The complaint was filed with the California Department of Civil Rights, and a meeting was set up in January 2024 to address Lively’s concerns. The meeting, which was also attended by her husband Ryan Reynolds, was about her return to work on “It Ends with us”after the actors and writers strike that halted production. During the meeting, Lively reportedly raised several issues. She accused Baldoni of discussing her weight with her trainer, pressuring her to share his religious views, and speaking inappropriately about their sex life.
Lively also claimed that the film’s producer and Wayfarer Studios CEO Jamie Heath showed her a video of his wife giving birth in the nude. Furthermore, Lively alleged that both Baldoni and Heath entered her makeup trailer without permission, in which she was breastfeeding her baby. She also mentioned that her complaints were not just about her own experience, but also about other female cast and crew members, some of whom had raised similar concerns.
