Arya Shares His Disappointment

On February 14, Arya shared a video from his new stand-up comedy performance on YouTube. He mentioned that his family was thrilled about Prateik’s marriage to Priya, but he was disappointed not to be invited. Arya joked that he gave his brother the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe someone had influenced Prateik’s decision not to invite him.

Funny Take on Family Marriages

During his gig, Arya humorously said, “My mother is so upset that she calls me every morning, crying, asking, ‘What should I do now that I’ve learned all these Punjabi songs? Do one thing—get married for the second time!'” He continued, “I agree that my father married twice, my sister married twice, and now my brother is marrying for the second time. Even my dog, Happy, has two girlfriends! So, I don’t mind getting married again, but I’m too lazy to deal with the complications of a divorce.”

Father’s Advice on Media Questions

Arya also shared a funny exchange with his father when he asked what to say to the media about not being invited to Prateik’s wedding. Raj Babbar replied, “Tell them, mard toh shaadi karte rehte hai” (men keep getting married). Vicky Kaushal Breaks Bollywood Records with Chhava, Outshining Padmaavat and Taanaji.

Sadly, Smita passed away that same year due to childbirth complications. Prateik’s first marriage was to Sanya Sagar in 2019, but they divorced in 2023. He is now married to Priya Banerjee.
