Ananya Panday Confirmed as Female Lead Opposite Kartik Aaryan
Dharma Productions has officially announced that Ananya Panday will be the female lead opposite Kartik Aaryan in their upcoming romantic comedy titled Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.
This confirmation came just a day after a video from the film’s shoot went viral online. The video, shared by Zoom Entertainment, showed Kartik entering a small roadside café in Europe, while Ananya was seen sitting with a friend, likely during the shooting of a scene. The clip led to widespread buzz and speculation among fans.
Now, the makers have ended all rumours with a formal announcement. The film is being directed by Sameer Vidwans, who earlier made Satyaprem Ki Katha. It is being jointly produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures.
According to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie will release in cinemas on February 13, 2026, just one day before Valentine’s Day—perfect timing for a love story.
Earlier, there were reports that the role was between Ananya Panday and Sharvari. A source close to the project said, “Kartik and Karan wanted someone with a strong youth fan base. After discussing a few names, they chose Ananya. She and Kartik have already proven to be a good on-screen pair.”
This film will mark a second collaboration between Kartik and Ananya, after their hit film Pati Patni Aur Woh in 2019. The makers are hoping to bring back the same chemistry that was loved by younger audiences.
