Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 Is a Hit
Akshay Kumar’s latest film, Housefull 5, is doing well at the box office and getting a good response from the audience.

Trouble for Welcome To The Jungle
At the same time, Akshay’s other big movie, Welcome To The Jungle, is facing problems. This film is the third part of the Welcome series and was much awaited by fans. But according to reports, the movie has run into financial trouble.
Shooting Delayed Due to Money Issues
So far, only about 60% of the shooting has been completed. Two to three shooting schedules have already been cancelled because of lack of funds. Around 40% of the shoot is still pending, and there is no confirmed plan for when it will be finished. Also read: The Dark Truth Behind Housefull 5 That No One Is Talking About.
Payments Not Cleared
One big issue is that many actors and their staff have not been paid yet. The film has a huge star cast of more than 20 actors, including:
- Akshay Kumar
- Paresh Rawal
- Suniel Shetty
- Disha Patani
- Jacqueline Fernandez
- Raveena Tandon
- Lara Dutta
Because there are so many stars, getting their dates together is also a big challenge.
Actors Getting Frustrated
At first, the actors were very excited to be part of the movie. But now, due to continuous delays and cancellations, many of them are getting upset. They feel their time could have been used for other films or ad shoots.
Still Hope for Release
The film is directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala. As per reports, around 70% of the movie has already been shot, including scenes in Mumbai and Kashmir (in August 2024).
Akshay and the team is now planning a major international shoot in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in October 2025. This part of the shoot will include big action scenes and song sequences.
New Release Date in 2025
Welcome To The Jungle was earlier planned for a Christmas 2024 release. But due to the delays and heavy VFX work, it is now expected to release in the second half of 2025 — possibly on December 26, 2025.
Fans Still Excited
Even with all the delays, fans are still excited because of the big star cast and the return of popular characters like Dr. Ghunghroo (played by Paresh Rawal). Also, the announcement video where the cast danced to the title track has created a lot of buzz.
