Paresh Rawal AKA Babu bhaiya Confirms His Return to Hera Pheri 3
Actor Paresh Rawal has officially confirmed that he is returning to the Hera Pheri film series. He told NDTV that all the earlier issues have been sorted. “I’m happy to be back with the team. I feel very thankful for all the love and respect from fans,” he said.
Earlier, Paresh Rawal had left the film due to some creative differences. But now, he has returned Rs 11 lakh with 15% interest to Akshay Kumar’s production company to settle the matter.
He also spoke about this on a podcast with Himanshu Mehta. Paresh Rawal said, “There is no controversy. When people love something a lot, we should be careful and give them good work. It is our duty.”
He added, “The audience has supported us for many years. We should not take that lightly. We must work hard and give them a good film. I just wanted everyone to come together and do their best. Now everything is fine.”
When asked if Hera Pheri 3 will feature the original cast, he replied, “It was always going to happen. We just had to make some adjustments (laughs). All of us – Priyadarshan, Akshay, and Suniel – are friends and creative people.”
The Hera Pheri series started in 2000, followed by Phir Hera Pheri in 2006. The films starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal in lead roles. The third film, Hera Pheri 3, will be directed by Priyadarshan and is expected to finish by mid-2026, with a possible release in 2027.
