IIFA 2025 Begins in Jaipur

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards have officially started in Jaipur today. The event is being held at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) in Sitapura from March 8 to March 9.
Bollywood Stars Grace the Event
Bollywood celebrities like Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor were seen making a stylish appearance at the event. The former co-stars shared a warm hug and engaged in a long conversation on stage.
Rajasthan’s Strong Bond with Bollywood

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari attended the IIFA press conference, along with some of Bollywood’s biggest stars. CM Sharma spoke about the deep connection between Rajasthan and Bollywood, saying, “Bollywood cannot be imagined without Rajasthan. With our excellent road and rail network, the state is a perfect location for filmmakers. Bollywood actors are like brand ambassadors for us.”
IIFA to Boost Tourism and Film Industry in Rajasthan
CM Sharma shared his excitement about hosting IIFA in Rajasthan for the second time, highlighting how such events promote tourism. “Thousands of weddings are held every year in Rajasthan’s palaces, hotels, and havelis. This event will further enhance the state’s global reputation,” he said.

Over the past year, Rajasthan has become a prominent filming destination, with 61 films, web series, and TV shows shot in the state. “Our landscapes, mountains, and wildlife sanctuaries provide a perfect setting for filmmakers,” he added.

Deputy CM Diya Kumari also expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “We have been eagerly waiting to welcome everyone to Rajasthan since IIFA was announced.”

With IIFA 2024 underway, Jaipur is set to witness a grand celebration of Indian cinema, bringing together Bollywood’s biggest names and boosting Rajasthan’s prominence in the film industry.
